One of my goals in life is to visit Easter Island. I guess part of it is just being into Tiki culture, but it's more just an overall fascination with the place. An island isolated by hundreds of miles of water, covered with tall idols made of stone. This website has an amazing collection of photos from Easter Island, mostly black & white. There's also an interesting article in a recent issue of Conde Nast Traveller.
